A 9.6-acre family-owned campground running from the Cabot Trail down to the Gulf of St. Lawrence in Point Cross, just outside Chéticamp.

Sites & amenities

98 RV sites and 36 tent sites, plus oceanfront tent sites and an oceanfront geodome with beach access. Washrooms, showers, laundry (added 2023) and a sheltered cooking station for tenters (new for 2026). Improving Wi-Fi coverage. In season, fresh local crab or lobster cooked and delivered to your trailer.

RVers wanting an oceanfront site near the national park's western entrance, and tenters who don't want to give up amenities.

Reservations via wavesendrv.ca or Campspot. Open May through October.

Combine it with

National park hikes (Skyline, Acadian Trail), Doryman Pub ceilidhs, La Coopérative Artisanale Acadienne and whale-watching from Pleasant Bay.
