5 unserviced sites in a quiet riverside grove. Vault toilets, picnic tables and fire grates only — no showers, no hookups, no potable water on tap. Pack everything in.

Self-sufficient tent campers and anglers wanting deep quiet near the river's salmon pools.

Park & access

First-come, first-served only. 2026 season May 15 – October 26. Reach via Cabot Trail then Big Intervale Road.

Combine it with

The Lone Shieling old-growth maple grove and a hike of MacIntosh Brook.

Getting there

First-come, first-served. No potable water on tap; bring water.
