About these sources. Weather is refreshed every 15 minutes from Environment Canada's public alert feeds. Roads and ferries come from NS 511 (provincial highways + the small cable/inland ferries — Englishtown, Little Narrows, Country Harbour). Marine Atlantic (Newfoundland service from North Sydney) and Northumberland Ferries (Caribou ↔ PEI) are not included here — check those operators directly for sailings. Fire restrictions update at 2:00 PM Atlantic daily during fire season (March 15 – October 15).
