Salt Mountain Trail

This 9.5 km return trail near Whycocomagh climbs 230 metres to a summit overlooking Bras d'Or Lake, with steep sections and rugged terrain suitable for experienced hikers. The walk takes 3+ hours on natural surface trails and has outhouses, water, picnic tables, and camping available. Dogs must be leashed. Access is 50 km from the Canso Causeway on Highway 105, turning onto Provincial Park Road near the campground.
