Doucette's Caper Gas Service Station
Doucette's has fueled Cabot Trail traffic for over 60 years from the same Ingonish Beach lot, just outside the eastern entrance to Cape Breton Highlands National Park. It is the longest continuously operating gas station on the Trail.
Why travellers stop
Alongside fuel, the station sells convenience-store basics, ice, firewood (for park campers), and has restrooms. It is the last reliable fuel stop before you head into the Park's quieter middle section toward Pleasant Bay, a 90 km stretch with limited services.
