Mad Science - Kids Day at Isle Madame Historical Society
Mad Science – Kids Day at Isle Madame Historical Society is a family-oriented programming day held at the LeNoir Landing site in Arichat, on Cape Breton's Isle Madame. The event pairs the history-rich setting of the Isle Madame Historical Society — the umbrella organization that manages the LeNoir Landing site, which includes the LeNoir Forge Museum and the Isle Madame Community Archives — with science-focused activities delivered through Mad Science, an educational entertainment company known for bringing hands-on STEM programming to community venues. For over 40 years, Mad Science has delivered unique, hands-on science experiences for children through after-school programs, birthday parties, workshops, special events, and summer camps. When brought into community settings like museums, Mad Science offers large-scale presentations designed to thrill audiences of all ages, injecting science learning and entertainment into special events, with opportunities for guests to rotate through demonstrations and experience science hands-on.
