Festival Acadien De Petit-De-Grat - Festival parade
This multi-day festival celebrating Acadian culture takes place each August on Isle Madame in Richmond County. The parade, called the Tintamarre, happens on August 15 and invites participants to wear blue, red, yellow, and white while making noise with bells, horns, and other instruments as part of the traditional Acadian celebration. The broader festival includes live entertainment, food, family activities, and community events.
