Bras d'Or Watch 2026

Citizen scientists help monitor the health of Bras d'Or Lake during this summer event, part of a UNESCO Biosphere Region. Participants at multiple sites around the estuary collect data on the same day to create a snapshot of lake conditions, with observations contributing to an island-wide health assessment. Local scientists and community members guide the work at locations including St. Peter's and other southern shore communities.
