Festival of the Strait is Port Hawkesbury's annual town-wide summer celebration. Programming spans concerts at Granville Green, a parade, kids' programming, marine-themed events on the harbour, fireworks, and pop-up community events across the Strait Area. Dates run roughly a week, peaking on a weekend with the biggest concerts and the fireworks finale. Most events are free; concerts may carry a cover at the gate.
