A KitchenFest concert at the Markland Lobby brings together an all-star lineup of Cape Breton traditional musicians: J.P. Cormier, a bluegrass/folk/Celtic multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter who has won thirteen East Coast Music Awards , is joined by fiddler Dara MacDonald, whose strong, lively, and traditional style reflects her deep Inverness County roots , Whycocomagh-raised fiddler and step dancer Stephanie MacDonald , and Marion Bridge pianist Adam Young, known for masterful Cape Breton accompaniment blending traditional dance rhythms with jazz and folk .
