Cormier, a Cape Breton-rooted bluegrass/folk/Celtic singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has won thirteen East Coast Music Awards ; Andrea Beaton, an award-winning fiddler and tune composer from Mabou, Cape Breton, known internationally for her powerful bowing and driving traditional style ; and Troy MacGillivray from Lanark, Nova Scotia, recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for contributions to culture in Canada . Expect an electrifying evening of Cape Breton fiddle, guitar, and piano rooted deep in the island's Celtic heritage.
