The 38th East Coast Music Awards Gala is Atlantic Canada's premier music celebration, coming to Centre 200 in Sydney, Cape Breton on May 21, 2026, featuring live performances, award presentations, and some of the region's most celebrated artists on one stage. Among the performers are the Barra MacNeils, a beloved Celtic family group from Sydney Mines, Cape Breton, renowned for their sibling harmonies, step dancing, and mastery of fiddle, piano, and Gaelic song across more than 17 recordings and four decades of sold-out shows worldwide.
