The Betty Lou Beaton School of Piano is an annual five-day Celtic piano program held at the Celtic Music Interpretive Centre in Judique, honouring Cape Breton legend Betty Lou Beaton — whose name is synonymous with Cape Breton fiddle and piano music . An internationally acclaimed piano player, Betty is in demand as a teacher and has taught in Cape Breton, the U.S., and Scotland. The school is a five-day series for intermediate and advanced players, with each day featuring two of Cape Breton's finest piano players, each with their own unique musical signature.
