Hearts of Kin is a Cape Breton sister duo — based out of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, sisters Danielle MacDonald and Shellie Tobin originally from New Waterford, NS, who officially began performing together in 2018. Their fresh blend of folk and country is soulfully delivered with sweet sibling harmonies and their signature slide guitar. Catch them at Breton Crafthouse as part of ECMA 2026, five days of live music and East Coast artists taking the spotlight in Sydney, Cape Breton.
