One-night contemporary art festival lighting up Sydney.
Annual nuit blanche featuring temporary art installations, performances and projections by local and visiting artists in unexpected places throughout downtown Sydney. Free and family-friendly.
What to expect
Walk a self-guided route from 7 PM to midnight. Storefronts, alleys, the boardwalk and parks are activated with light, sound and performance.
Highlights
The Charlotte Street projection mapping. Surprise pop-up choirs. Hot drinks at venues along the route.
Plan ahead
Free. Park anywhere downtown after 6. Bring layers, comfortable shoes and a little cash for snacks.
