Chéticamp Bird Walk
A free weekly bird walk each Saturday in Chéticamp and surrounding areas, various spots depending on what's seasonally interesting! I'm Claude, very into birds, and doggedly exploring Cape Breton one back road at a time. Location of the walk will communicated a few days prior for meetup.
Walk typically involves 1-2 km of walking over dirt roads and occasional sand, bug conditions vary. Usually 1.5-2 hrs of strolling and chatting. Binoculars recommended. No expertise needed, come if you've ever seen a bird and been curious about what's around you. Kids are welcome, please leave dogs at home.
