
Wagmatcook’s Powwow
The Mi'kmaw community of Wagmatcook hosts dancers, drummers and singers from across Mi'kma'ki on September 26 and 27.
Two-day powwow in September featuring grand entry, traditional dancing in regalia, Mi'kmaw food, and local artisans. The event takes place on the shores of Bras d'Or Lake in Wagmatcook and draws drummers, singers, and dancers from across Mi'kma'ki. Visitors welcome; the MC will direct when to stand and when photography is permitted.
