A rug hooking gathering bringing together about 15 core members and frequent practitioners of the Chéticamp-style tradition. On Thursday, June 4, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., you can watch artisans at work, learn techniques from experienced rug makers and yarn dyers, and see finished pieces. The event focuses on sharing knowledge and sustaining this local craft tradition.
