THE BEATON INSTITUTE PRESENTS Summer Series An Evening of Screenings and an Archival Talk discovering our stories through archives. Beinn Mhàbu

The Beaton Institute screens documentaries and hosts a discussion with filmmakers about archival research and community storytelling.

Screening event featuring two films exploring global stories and community connections. Doors open at 5:30pm, screenings start at 6:00pm, followed by discussion with archivists Jane Arnold and Brenda Davis at 8pm. Feature film Sister examines health workers in Ethiopia, Cambodia and Haiti; short film Màiri is a Scottish island narrative with fantasy elements. Coffee, tea and snacks provided. Note: Sister contains intense medical imagery not suitable for those under 15.
