Visual and media artist Alex Balkam presents works across oil painting, sculpture, and film exploring questions of place and transformation. The exhibition title uses the Mi'kmaw word sa'se'wamukwa'sit, meaning to change appearance or transform, and examines what environmental change requires of us.
