Visual artist Alex Balkam presents work across oil painting, sculpture, tanning, and film that explores place, being, and the natural world. The exhibition title, sa'se'wamukwa'sit, is a Mi'kmaw word meaning to change appearance or transform, reflecting Balkam's investigation of environmental change and what transformation asks of us.
