Local musician Brian Cathcart hosts Open Stage nights where performers of all levels are welcome to take the stage.
Brian Cathcart is the lead vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist of Pretty Archie, a popular Cape Breton folk, Americana, bluegrass, and alt-country band. The band's debut album was nominated for Music Nova Scotia's Country/Bluegrass Album of the Year, and their second album earned an ECMA nomination for Country Recording of the Year. Cathcart hosts open mic nights at Daniel's Taphouse on Thursday evenings, welcoming all to take the stage and join in the fun.
