Two Canadian pianists perform separate sets on one piano, dismantling expectations of what solo piano music can be.
Two pianists — Bob Wiseman and Mike Boguski — take turns performing solo sets on a single piano on October 26 at The Red Farm. Wiseman, a founding Blue Rodeo member, plays experimental sound collage; Boguski, the current Blue Rodeo pianist, explores ambient and cinematic styles. Expect contrasting approaches with no predetermined structure.
