Men of the Deeps at the Miners Museum
A choir of working and retired Cape Breton coal miners performs at the Miners Museum.
Working and retired coal miners from Cape Breton perform traditional songs rooted in the region's mining heritage. The Men of the Deeps, formed in 1966, requires all members to have worked underground; performers range from their mid-thirties to upper-seventies. They take the stage in coveralls and hard hats with helmet lamps. Main doors open 6:30pm, theatre doors 6:45pm, performance at 7pm. Tickets available online, in person, or by calling 902-849-4522.
