Inverness Sea Glass Festival
Annual celebration of Inverness Beach's famous sea glass — artisan vendors, guided beach walks, workshops, and music along the Inverness boardwalk.
Inverness Sea Glass Festival celebrates the unique sea glass that washes up along Inverness Beach — relics of the village's coal-mining and bottle-throwing past, polished by decades of Gulf of St. Lawrence tides. The festival features artisans selling sea-glass jewellery and art, guided beach walks for collectors of all ages, workshops on identifying rare colours, live music, and community programming. The Inverness boardwalk anchors most events; the beach itself is the festival's permanent main stage.
