GROUND TRUTHING: AN OUTSIDE LIFE, SOLITARY STORY, COLLECTIVE MYTH BY RONALD WILLIAMS
Artist Ronald Williams presents paintings exploring personal landscape, memory, and history through direct observation and lived experience.
Artist Ronald Williams paints landscapes and personal stories from his decades working in Canadian forests, using salvaged materials like tent canvas and rust paint on reclaimed frames. His exhibition explores how individual experience connects to broader narratives about place and the natural world. Williams, who worked as a conservation officer in Nova Scotia before turning to self-taught painting in 2016, currently lives in West Arichat.
