Celtic Colours International Festival
A nine-day festival in October featuring musicians from Celtic regions worldwide performing in communities across Cape Breton Island.
This nine-day festival in October brings Celtic musicians from Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Brittany, and Cape Breton to perform across the island's communities. Concerts happen in churches, halls, theatres, and arenas, featuring traditional and contemporary Celtic music often with collaborations between local and visiting artists. Beyond concerts, there are square dances, artisan demonstrations, guided hikes, storytelling, and traditional meals hosted by volunteers, plus nightly Festival Club performances. October 9-17, 2026.
