Betty Lou Beaton School of Piano
The Betty Lou Beaton School of Piano offers Celtic piano instruction in the Cape Breton style.
A five-day summer school for intermediate and advanced piano players focusing on Cape Breton style, running late June to early July during KitchenFest. Each day features two instructors from Cape Breton's piano community, teaching the nuances of the regional style in small group settings. Projected dates: June 29–July 3 (2026), June 28–July 2 (2027), June 26–30 (2028), and June 25–29 (2029).
