Dartmouth-born artist Ryan Josey presents his first solo exhibition in 10 years, featuring three works spanning oil paintings, a reimagined installation, and new photography.
Dartmouth-born artist Ryan Josey's first solo exhibition in 10 years features three works: oil paintings responding to French philosopher Michel Foucault, a reimagining of a Felix Gonzalez-Torres piece, and a new site-specific photo-installation. The works explore how our divisions affect us and how knowledge, experiences, and connections pass between generations. Runs June 26 – Sept. 5 at Gallery 203 in Eltuek Arts Centre, open Monday–Friday 9am–4pm and Saturday 9am–3pm.
