Dartmouth-born artist Ryan Josey presents his first solo exhibition in 10 years, featuring three works spanning painting, appropriation, and site-specific installation.
Dartmouth-born artist Ryan Josey's first solo exhibition in 10 years features three works: oil paintings responding to Michel Foucault's life and writings, a reimagining of a Felix Gonzalez-Torres piece, and a new site-specific photo-installation. The works explore divisiveness and how knowledge, experience, and connection pass between generations. June 26 – Sept. 5 at Gallery 203, Eltuek Arts Centre (Monday-Friday 9am-4pm, Saturday 9am-3pm).
