Local musician Evelyn MacRae performs at Breton Brewing on Friday from 4pm to 7pm with no cover charge.
Known as "Cape Breton's Rose," Evelyn MacRae is a Cape Breton singer-songwriter and guitarist who commands a repertoire of over 7,000 songs spanning country, rock and roll, Irish, and Cape Breton styles, and has written over 100 original songs across ten albums. A 2020 inductee into the Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Fame, she brings warmth and deep island roots to every performance.
