Baddeck Gathering Ceilidhs

Nightly, July through mid-October · St. Michael's Parish Hall

Nightly summer ceilidhs at St. Michael's Parish Hall.

A long-running 7:30 PM nightly ceilidh in Baddeck featuring rotating Cape Breton fiddlers, pianists and step dancers in a relaxed parish hall setting.

What to expect

Folding chairs, no booze, kids welcome. Pure music for 90 minutes. Performers introduce themselves and trade stories.

Highlights

The lineup rotates nightly — check the chalkboard at the door. Sometimes you'll catch a future Celtic Colours headliner playing for $15.

Plan ahead

Arrive 7:00 to grab a seat. Cash at the door. Plenty of B&Bs, the Inverary Resort, and the Telegraph House in walking distance.

Why go

The most accessible nightly Cape Breton fiddle experience anywhere — and walking distance from your room.
