National and Alamo are the third major rental option at Sydney Airport, run from the same operation as Enterprise. Vehicles are stored in a lot adjacent to the terminal — staff will walk you to your car after the paperwork.
If you are an Emerald Club member, this is the only counter on Cape Breton Island where status applies; expedited pickup can shave 15-20 minutes during cruise-ship arrivals when the terminal gets busy.
