
Jost Heritage House (c 1787)
Once the home of a prominent merchant, Jost Heritage House (c 1786) located in Sydney on Cape Breton Island, shows the evolution of a wooden dwelling over the course of three centuries. The museum features displays on local marine life, Cape Breton history and a reconstructed apothecary. A gift shop is on site with small collectibles as well as a variety of other souvenir items.
