Glenview Campground in Whycocomagh on Cape Breton Island offers level open and wooded campground sites on Skye River overlooking the beautiful Bras d’Or Lakes. Whycocomagh has all the local amenities necessary while on vacation, such as a bank, gas stations, pharmacy, supermarket, restaurants, and gift shops, yet still manages to retain a quiet village atmosphere. We are located 45 kilometres from Baddeck where you can enjoy a variety of restaurants, shops and boat tours, the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site, or play a round of golf at Bell Bay Golf Course. Take a day trip exploring the scenic Cabot Trail, just 35 kilometres away, and experience the many attractions along the way. Our accommodations include 53 overnight sites (Electrical hook-up (30 & 50 amps), Water hook-up, Sewage hook-up, Unserviced) and 47 seasonal sites. Guest amenities include flush toilets, free showers, washrooms, laundry facilities, a pavilion, disposal station, wood, fireplaces, and wireless Internet access. Other features include a swimming pool, playground, and a 1.5-kilometre walking trail.
