Nestled among the Cape Breton highlands, on the iconic Cabot Trail, connect with nature, food, and culture during a chef-led dining experience at Doucet. Surrounded by the works of local artisans, take a seat at a communal table for a focused, chef and sommelier-led dining experience that reflects Cape Breton’s land, sea, and culture. Savour local seafood and seasonal produce alongside native grains, wild herbs, and traditional Acadian flavours. Experience Highlights: Chef-led 8-course dining experience, bringing together wild-foraged ingredients, locally sourced fare, and bold culinary creativity to create signature dishes like a Kamut flour butter tart made with local Mabou maple syrup and preserved and pickled spruce. Hear the local connection and inspiration behind each course from Michelin-trained Chef Cameron Armstrong. Connect with nature, food, and each other around two, handcrafted communal dining tables, surrounded by local art and overlooking the rolling highlands. Sommelier-led wine pairings, using low-intervention selections that reflect the terroir and natural expression of the grapes, while perfectly accompanying each course. Experience offered daily, Tuesday – Saturday until November 1, 2025 Time: starts at 6:00pm and lasts about 2.5-hours Price: $155 per person Conditions: Advance booking required. Payment accepted the night of your meal. Please let Table Doucet know of any dietary restrictions at least 48 hours in advance. A selection of in-house made non-alcoholic options are also available.
